Members of our RCBN Foundation Board will provide updates on what are Foundation funds were used to support last Rotary year and those planned for this year.

Celebrate Fall in beautiful Bronte Creek Provincial Park.  Runners and walkers can challenge the flat and fast trail in the morning, and then stay for a relaxing day in the park. This year’s event also features a Kids-Zone, a Makers-Market and a pancake breakfast.

Lisa is Fund and Volunteer Coordinator for Autism Ontario in our area. She will speak to the effects of this disease on children and their families. 

Jennifer Lucking, Executive Director of Nancy's Place, will be our presenter at this meeting. She will explain what Nancy's Place is, what it does and for whom. Our club has provided support for this facility in the past, please come to hear Jennifer's update.

The 4 Club Remembrance Evening will be held at the Halton Naval Veterans Hall on Wednesday November 8, 2023. 
This year is the 70th anniversary of the Korean War and the speakers will recount events of that time. There will also be a "Youth Forum" prior to the formal meeting to allow members of Roraract and Interact to meet with veterans to ask questions and to help them better understand the importance of Remembrance events. You are invited to assist by paying for a meal for either a veteran or a member of the youth attendees. 

There will be no formal meeting this morning but we will be attending the Food For Life facilities to assist with hands on food sorting. The address is 2258 Mountainside Dr, Burlington 

What does Liberty for Youth do?

We assist at-risk youth with daily challenges often under tragic situations. The teens we serve are not bad individuals but victims of life’s difficult circumstances. We help them navigate these challenges through mentorship.

Madeline will provide an overview of their current status and plans for the future.

Senior Major Gifts Officer for Zone 28, Carolyn Ferguson will provide our club with an update on The Rotary Foundation (TRF). She will also be available to answer any member questions, don't miss out on this opportunity. 

Burlington Rotary Youth Exchange Student Katariina will be our speaker at this meeting. She will tell us where she is from, how she got invoved with RYE and her plans for the future. Please come and support this amazing individual and the RYE Program.
