Former Olympian, Curt Harnett, will provide us with an overview of the World Bicycle Relief organization and its goals. 

 There will be 2 parts to the program:                                                                                                           -   First, from 5 pm to about 6 pm, there will be small group discussions that involve a veteran(s), youth(s), and Rotarian(s).                                                                                                                                                                                           -  The formal part of the evening will begin shortly after 6 pm.  The keynote speaker will be Sonya Sowa, currently a member of the Canadian Armed Forces (navy).

We are looking forward to this exciting opportunity of joining with the Rotary Club of Burlington Central for the first of two joint meetings. We will meet at the Holiday Inn as we normally would.

Laura Oros, a Friend of Rotary, will be providing an update on Salvation Army initiatives and discussing their plans for their upcoming Christmas Kettle Program. The annual kettle fundraiser is their main source of income each year, please do your best to attend to get the latest information. 

This morning's presenter, Nelson Borges, will give us an overview of the Capillary Wave organization and their goals. 

This will be our second joint meeting with the RC of Burlington Central.
Our presenter, Dr. Frank Baillie will be speaking on “ The intersection of Intuition and knowledge” ( or Love & Lust ).
